NBR gloves

Nitrile rubber, also known as Buna-N, Perbunan or NBR, is a synthetic rubber copolymer of acrylonitrile (ACN) and butadiene.

This type of synthetic rubber is resistant against hydrocarbons and other chemicals. Its elasticity makes NBR a suitable material for making laboratory disposable gloves and gloves used for professional cleaning. Compared to natural rubber, nitrile rubber is much more resistant against oils and acids. However, it’s less resistant to mechanical stress. However, NBR gloves are three times more resistant to perforation compared to gloves made of natural rubber.

These gloves comply with the EN 388:2003 standard against mechanical hazards (cuts, abrasions, tears, and perforations).
